Listen to Stephanie Davies chat about laughter in the classroom!

Laughology

Stephanie Davies – Laughology and Happy-Centred Schools’ Head of Happiness, was invited to chat about laughter and humour in education for the ‘Thinking Classroom Podcast’.

During the conversation, she spoke about her own experience of learning and why this led her to look into the power of humour for learning. She also spoke to host Mike Fleetham from Thinking Classroom about how humour is more than just making lessons fun: there’s a lot of empirical evidence around linking neurotransmitters with laughter and memory – and if we get this right in the classroom, learning can be more effective and more enjoyable.

Finally, Stephanie shared our very own FLIP-it Thinking model, which uses humour to face challenges and also revealed her own learning journey and relationship with education

You can listen by downloading the episode here - and it’s FREE.
